Graphic Design +

Content Creation

From commercial printing to light manufacturing to online design and development, I help people solve their unique content and design challenges.

Audio, Video +

Photography

My photography is mainly oriented toward candid, portrait and performance, while my time in audio and video production is exclusive to live music.

Experience in

Print + Web

Whether your project is ultimately intended for the web or the printed page, I’ve got your back with a broad range of services covering both.

In a Pinch

I Can Write

I don’t consider myself a professional writer, and I’m always supportive of having a copywriter on board. But I can write in a pinch if necessary.

A Focus on Architecture

For more than half of my 25 years working as a designer, I’ve spent the bulk of my time working for firms in the Architectural, Engineering (A/E) and Planning industries. And the majority of that time has been spent at one firm in particular — Kitchen & Associates (K&A). K&A is an 80-person, multidisciplinary design firm based in Collingswood, New Jersey and specializing in the design of affordable housing — an issue close to my heart. It makes sense. My undergraduate degree is in Architecture, backed up with a fairly heavy minor in Art History, and a nomadic childhood spent growing up on the road.

Smart

Smart

A graduate of Columbia University (CC’93) with a BA in Architecture, I’m smart enough to know that I don’t know everything, and consider homework and research two of my closest friends.

Talented

Talented

With over 25 years of experience, working in a variety of different mediums, I’ve managed to cobble together a wide range of skills, from analog to digital, print to web.

Dedicated

Dedicated

Dedication to project, client or employer has never been a particular weakness of mine. If anything, it’s been more of a flaw, as I tend to choose work over life most days of the week.

In a Nutshell

A jack-of-all-trades, master of a few

I'm an artist.

I perceive the world in color and composition, space and its alternative. I’m attracted to thoughtful design and the occasional whimsy. And I like a good mistake when appropriate.

I'm a designer.

Being a designer is only a logical off-shoot of being an artist at heart, if only for pragmatic reasons like eating on a regular basis and paying for things like rent, utilities and cat food.

I'm a photographer.

Always fascinated with photography, the captured image, light, shadow, and everything in between, it’s only in the last decade that I’ve really started to understand the medium.
