And it happened all the time that the compromise between two perfectly rational alternatives was something that made no sense at all.”

WordPress Development, Theme Customization, Slider Animation, and Content Creation Optimized for Web
My education is in architecture and art history, and I spent those first few years out of school as an aspiring young architect. However, instead of pursuing a masters degree, I went on to found a successful stationery design company with a partner that we operated for nearly a decade. It was there where I learned to design pretty much everything under the sun. From greeting cards to packaging, to a variety of lightly manufactured products, including invitations, magnets, and journals.
There too I would learn how to design and manage the brand and identity of a publicly-facing company with a customer base, as well as a website, something that was a relatively new medium in the early 1990s, but something that every company needed to get under its proverbial belt. Those were the days of building sites from scratch, using manual HTML, and if I remember correctly, CSS and Flash animation were still in their infancy. Good times.
I would move on from the stationery industry and spend the next twenty years of my career working, both full-time and in a freelance capacity, as a graphic designer and art director, mainly in the architectural and planning industries. My web-related work today is mainly oriented toward client-driven, custom content creation, animated motion graphics, and WordPress development and theme customization.
My print-related design work remains unchanged—I’ll design anything.

Print is where my life in design began so many years ago, and it remains something very close to my heart. It’s tangible. It’s real. You can hold it in your hands and smell the ink. Regardless of your project’s requirements, I can help.
A Gen X-er, I remember a time before digital, before computers, where Atari was the most advanced thing imaginable and landlines reigned. Not anymore. Whatever your platform, I’ve probably designed something for it.
With a background in building websites using HTML/CSS, I specialize these days in custom WordPress development. So if you need help with the installation or customization of a new theme, I have solutions.
